Last month we entered our signature blend in the Golden Bean North America Competition and for the second year in a row, we took home Bronze in the Espresso category! The fact that over 260 coffee roasters entered 700 coffees into the competition is staggering! The great thing about this recognition, is that it confirms the versatility of Beachcomber Coffee. Since we only do a single, proprietary blend for all brewing formats, it's great that we've been recognized in both drip and espresso format and shows the opportunity that's out there (considering 95% of our sales are drip-related). Another nice feature this year for the GBNA 2016 was the judges feedback system, here were some of their comments:
