Beachcomber Coffee is looking to add a part-time, experienced Operations Manager to our Cafe Management team based in Gibsons, on the Sunshine Coast, BC!
The Operations Manager ensures a smooth operational flow is present at both coffee shops on a daily basis. This position could lead to full-time but it’s part-time to start.
Note: A valid Driver’s License is a requirement as well as previous Café/Coffee Shop/Restaurant experience. Previous Barista experience would be considered a HUGE asset. What to expect in this role:
- Pack and deliver inventory to both shops in Gibsons
- Weekly inventory delivery to Sechelt
- Pack and ship online orders via Canada Post
- Pack and deliver wholesale orders on the Sunshine Coast
- Coordinate weekly shop laundry in Gibsons
- Receive and organize warehouse shipments
- Manage warehouse inventory
- Provide a weekly summary of operations and inventory levels
- Interface with suppliers for purchasing
- Participate in regular Management meetings

What we're looking for in our next team member:
- You have previous Operations experience
- You have previous Café, Restaurant, or Coffee Shop experience
- You have previous Barista experience (bonus points)
- You have a passion for systems and organization
- You are a people-person with no ego and enjoy working as a team
- You are passionate about the coffee industry
- You are tech-versed and aren't afraid of Microsoft Office, Apple iOS, and other systems/software packages
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
