- Graduated from Gibsons Elementary (back when they had a French immersion program)
- Graduated from Elphinstone Secondary
- Donated over $3,000 to Gibsons Elementary these past couple of years
- Provides coffee to IGA Gibsons at cost as all coffee bar proceeds are donated to a different local charity each month
- Launched www.SupportCoastal.com as a free platform to profile other Sunshine Coast businesses and Entrepreneurs
- Sponsors other local businesses and participates in fundraisers on a regular basis that give back to the community
