We've been working on this project for months and it finally came to fruition this past Friday as we launched our Deadly Donuts brand via popup at Beachcomber. It was a huge success and we've received tons of positive feedback. In the past, we hosted 6 popups with Dipped Doughnut Co. based out of Vancouver but we wanted to create a local supply chain. Our passion for donuts runs deep, therefore, we wanted to create our own brand in Deadly Donuts!
What is Deadly Donuts? It's a collaboration between Beachcomber Coffee and Cheeky Monkey Cakes based out of Sechelt. The unique aspect of these donuts (outside of the fact they're made on the Sunshine Coast, BC) is that they're vegan (no dairy or eggs) and they're baked, not fried! We launched with 6-flavours:
- Cookie Monster
- El Churro
- Marvelous Maple
- Coocoo for Coconut
- Holy Fudge
- Peanut Butter Cup
